if RR happens, it’s probably gonna be like a wednesday night in May. there were more people there for the led zeppelin cover band (which btw was phenomenal) than UM this year

I don’t think they are planning NYE that far out. It would also be a move back into a larger venue after this year’s Denver NYE run and where they last did an NYE run in Atlanta.

Usually just broke graphic artists that wouldn’t have gotten gigs anyway. Anyone with talent still seems to find work these days. I can understand the real artists being upset the Ai trains on their work. But if there’s no blatant style being copied and it’s for promotional poster not being sold, I agree it doesn’t seem like a huge deal.

It was a 5 second portion of the video. If people are trying to argue on Facebook that type of thing is eating into a graphic artists income they’re crazy. They could have just as easily superimposed text over the video.
That TTB situation was absolutely bogus though.

I’m honestly stoked I get to ring in my 37th birthday in Birmingham, Alabama as a part of SE ter! Probably will fly into Atlanta and do the run haven’t missed a chance to see them on my birthday since the first time I caught them then at 20 in Des Moines. Did Philadelphia 2010 and Eugene 2020 so this would be my forth birthday show show. Love me some personal milestones trips around the sun Umphreys!

I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this mini run, but 6ish hour drives between Great Falls>Airway Heights>Boise sounds like an absolute slog. Your sobriety would be essential.

I’m trying to work out the logistics. I don’t want to drive the whole trip from CO Springs. Thinking flying in and out of Bozeman and getting a rental. I don’t drink these days so no hangover driving to worry about. These shows line up with the what I’m hopeful will be 1 year no drinking for me.
