I totally remember there being something before speak up.
Granted I was pretty not sober at like 6pm, but sober enough by the time um came on. But if this is from official sources then yeah I’ll believe it.
Turns out they don’t really measure drinks here and my 4 drinks in 70 minutes were doubles or more, and I came within inches of breaking my one rule of “ do whatever you want, just handle your shit”
Chilled on a poolside lounger for the opener with my eyes closed, glory started and I was a sad boy cause that was my walk down the isle song at my wedding and I haven’t heard it yet since the divorce, but the porch started and I got up to my group and danced so hard
Group was awesome and supportive and they were like, hey now you have a new memory for glory of hanging with friends and family in Africa seeing um and it’s just been incredible. Yesterday’s vibe was off the charts. August hit me in the soul hole, and seeing Moroccan’s just lose their shit and geek out over umphreys has been an experience.
Fuck the haters, this band is incredible.

1.5 bayliss solos (i count front porch as a .5 bayliss solo) over 2 nights??? That just ain’t right
In whatever song night one where Jake’s rig and half of Joel’s rig went down, bayliss totally saved it, and once he locked in with a lead line, crowd went wild
Also there was totally a love supreme tease/short jam at the end of something in set 2
The stories on the band’s IG of the crowd last night look like an absolute blast. Total party vibe
Yeah man, the vibes of last night were absolutely off the charts. About 700 for the um shows+150 Moroccans who were absolutely floored at um. Everyone was just dancing hard and smiling and ripping hash. Theres a family with a small kid who has a bubble gun just blowing bubbles everywhere. Everyone knows how special this is

Solid show. First part of jam in August is a definite repeat. 6/23/19 comes to mind.
This Front Porch is definitely getting it for me.
Just got thru the 1st set today. Choice opening with Glory > FP. FP 1st jam is reminiscent of the 9.02.2017 soundcheck FP. August is a good version, uplifting dance party. 1348 brings the funk, a couple times it felt like it was gonna end amd they kept it goin".
Good dog selection in this one, Roulette & FP in the same set is what dreams are made of. 
August felt like a repeated stew, no?
