Strange no real song s/o for Chris. Still though, give em credit for playing Concessions @ a fest. Managed to cover a lot of eras of UM in a 90 minute set. Looks like fun

Still not sure how I feel about concessions. I like the end part of it. It feels like an umphreys tune made by one of em switching UMs-specific but genre-different radio stations

Just got done listening. Nothing to write home about. The more I’ve been hearing Small Strides, the more it’s warming up to me. Happy to see Concessions again, but in a festival setting I wouldn’t have played it. Either extended improv or throw in some more untz/dance to fit the crowd.

This was a nice little run last weekend. No 20+ minute tracks but patient, complimentary playing with no real rip cords or Jake chugs. The Plunger and transition into ITK (and the following ITK into the mashup) is probably my highlight here. 2024 has been a good year for UM, imo
