I had a big argument over a bingo winner a few years ago during a game i was running. Pot was over $300 and band quotes/jams Party Time in the middle of Wolfman’s. Feels likes Party Time, but still jammy. I ultimately gave it to him, but everyone was pissed at me
After that i made a strict rule that the official setlist is the final deciding factor. If its not on the actual setlist, it doesnt count. No matter how long/intentional the tease/jam

There was a lot of discussion about this amongst our group at the show. My position is that Life During Exodus wouldn’t have counted as a cover because it’s an umphreys song whose arrangement is unique to them and it has been released on an umphreys album.
Counterpoint was made (by @opsopcopolis): "Well, they released I Want You (She’s So Heavy) on their album (London Sessions) too - does that not count as a cover then?

Then, the thunderstruck tease/verse in the Tinkle’s… that felt more like a bet-qualifying event than the LDE. But again, that’s just how it felt at the time.

This betting business has me thinking of trying to coordinate a survivor type pool for the weekend shows. Something like, choosing some number of songs you think will be played for the run, and if they play them you advance. Caveat is, the following run you can’t pick those songs again.
