I want to say the same about Divisions, but I’m a people pleaser and I don’t want to upset the hive.

I’m pretty sure the hive mind thinks Divisions is more of a set eater than Wife Soup.

I feel like most that I’ve heard have a bunch of drums in it and drum jams aren’t really my thing.

I love both of them but neither does a ton for me live at this point in my UM career. I’d take a Divisions since I feel like it gets played a decent amount less than Soup in recent years. You always know what you’re gonna get with both but at least they’re classic songs

Its basically the same everytime, though, so once you catch it a few times, it kinda gets stale

This is more so what I meant. It’s not like I hate the song, but it’s the same thing every time and I’ve caught it quite a few times.
Wife Soup and Divisions are two of my all time favorite UM songs. The sweep arpeggio in WS and the harmony riff after the drums and buildup in Divisions is what pretty much sealed the deal with them for me.
But if I have to choose one over the other, I’m takin Divisions. But give them both to me at any show any time

I’ll take a Wife Soup over a non jammed Divisions any day of the week. If they did cool shit with Divisions like they used to back in the day however it would be the other way around.
