Setlist

**show notes**

~ what changed? tST & Educated Guess cut from the 1st set. KaBump cut after Kitchen in the 2nd. Wappy > end Kitchen scratched from the encore as Kitchen was ended after that fat bounceback; tST played as a belated birthday gift to Bob Stone

~Nice JO to start off in Mantis, started funky, briefly to bliss, back to funk- you could call it bounceback but it was a tiny one at that

~In a song like Wife Soup ya can’t hide too much behind the smoke, BB’s vox sound great tonight. They ALMOST stewed it but backed out of it and went back into the song structure

~Jamtachments has a beautiful dance groove getting laid down, backed off a bit > back into it > Jake/Kris breakdown > groove > start/stop > peak > ambience

~Mullet with the classic Baylor wine bottle slide :playground_slide: :guitar:

~ Small Strides with a smooth melodic jam, keeping tempo. BB laying down some nice textures > BB/Jaco locking into a lovely dual melody

~ almost a soaring 1st DBK jam; ADD 2nd jam, dance> ambient > rock peak

~ ITK with a nice funk/jazz line → metal salsa > beautiful bounceback

~ tST with a breathable moment, Linear/ The Floor vibes > rock peak > end tST

Solid Mantis to start, 17ish mins. Soup was earlier in a show than Id like but I wont hate. Crowd has filled in nicely for a midweek show

I wish Jake would do something interesting besides that sliding up the neck shit, chugs, reverb, and playing above the nut.

Almost on queue.

Digging these lights.

Thats just how Jake plays, isn’t it? Percussive lead guitar

Hes adding something to the mix now. Literally as soon as I said that.

I’m always like this now, but so are they. Same ol tricks

You’re not wrong brotha
