In hindsight, my hating on the first set was probably made worse by the annoying people that surrounded me. There was the dude that sang the the instrumental parts of Junk at his buddy. The absolute giant that was throwing elbows. The eight people behind me that talked through the entire set. I was pretty grumpy by the time they finished the set.
I went to the back of the room and out of the crowd for the second set and had a much, much better time.
