This show is real nice, but the weekend as a whole is a step down from DUMB tour. The excitement and freshness are largely gone and we’re back to riding grooves for 7 minutes and relying on nice textures to get us through jams. This Wappy peak is indeed pretty solid though, Phil’s has a fun structure to it, and I would gladly take this song selection every time. One of the best paper setlists I’ve seen lately. Keep it up!
Kinda agree in some ways but also disagree. I’d say Dillon or Vail is SOTY so far but this show is up there. No mention of Seasons? Probably the best version of the song, Joel’s playing is on fire and it sounds like they are playing with real intent. Phil’s kinda gets noodly but the real late bounce back to the metal at the end of that jam is exhilarating.

I’d probably put this one ahead of Dillon but behind Vail without having relistened to either of those

This show > anything from CO IMO
Not even close actually if you ask me. Both this show and vail are chock full of interesting jams but I think these are a cut above. Wappy alone is better than any 1 jam from Vail and for my money, Kabump, Phil’s, Seasons and IC are overall better than Nemo, Comma, Attachments from Vail.

Forgot about Remind Me from Vail which was pretty good. I’d still say this show is unquestionably better though

Dillon is a bit top heavy between GYM, Great American and Plunger. But those 3 jams rip.
Vail is super consistent but the jams don’t quite jump out at you as much in 2nd set.
This show has consistenly great jams start to finish and some choice song selections. But it also has New Wings, which is terrrrrible

Just listened to the Wappy. Pretty mid tbh. Doesn’t hold a candle to the DDR Wappy of 8/29/19 and honestly prefer the Chatt version from this year

this Kabump is my shit.
There have been some great shows this summer but this one is still SOTY no doubt.
That return to the metal at the the end of the Phil’s jam w/ the moog and killer Bayliss solo is one of my favorite things.
I thought you said this show isn’t as good as Dillon or Vail before?
