Who watches the clock more: @Bayliss or @cshore?
Why am I flying to CA to see this band? I’m dumb.
Set 1: 2/10
Set 2; 8/10
Encore: 7.5/10
Show: 5.1/10
Standard great overall, but set 2 and encore were top- tier
Not top-tier but certainly better than standard great. You super hated on S1. Thought I was being hard assessing a C-…
JoJo you are coming to CaliforniaUM? Please get in touch!
There was next to no improv in that set. Maybe ill tack on an extra .5 for the quality of DBK but seriously a totally standard set is weak. Especially since they played cut off which should have significant improv
That was the first UM show (ehh probably set but we’ll give them show) that left me feeling good. Jams were there, song selection was there, nice flow. Maybe my standards are low and I’m trying to justify the $20 but that was a good listen.
Indeed! I saw you’re doing all 4 but I’ll just be LA > SD. I’m pretty sure I still have your number but if not, I’ll get it from Tynan.
Fair enough. I was tuning in and out of S1 because I’m trying to kick it with the “wife’s” fam and stealthily stream the show…
OD’s. See y’all there
Ugh, wish I could close that place down with you bruv. Love O’Ds. Always a good time there.
Not that I’m expecting them to know anything at all but
- did he realize they were in Minneapolis tonight
- does he understand the concept of HoF
- has banger ever been used to describe an Umphrey’s song/set/show
Not since 2012
I’m a lame @ass sucker because I’ve listened to 3-5 different versions of Words the past 2 days. So in my head. Love it. The 10/19/06 (I think) Words > Brick > Words > Fancy is legendary shit.
EDIT: to correct date. And the Dump with the rap medley…
VFJ is like the Q fucks. You can’t talk sense to those people.
I kinda get off to verbally destroying idiots. I asked some fucks today if polio was eradicated by herd immunity and they were stumped. Got off to it. But yeah not gonna go that hard for V4J. If I loved standard songs as much as they do I’d be a much happier person
Q4T
I just listen to the aborted jams to judge a show
