You should be able to know which were good and which was meh if you know the 3 lol
I know 1/31 was good, 9/1 was bad, I’m wondering if 2/2 or 8/29 is the standard great show.
Woops and not 2/1 it was 2/2.
I was calling 2/2 standard great.
I know your stats better than you do
Gotcha. Yeah 2/2 wasn’t good IMO. Other than Bridgeless > IDM it left a lot to be desired.
I did see the best show on 2/1 tho
Yeah I would call it meh but I know the majority would give it a standard great description.
IDK did you listen to that 2/1 134gr8?
I listened to the 2/1 boop
Again…August 2019 was one of the strongest months in UM history, right up there with any you can think of. Fact, not opinion
Random appreciation for the 8/3 August, shit is hot
I consider 2007, 2011 and 2019 as UM’s best years overall. Fall 2013 is right up there as well. I caught a few decent shows along the way, a few Bron mentioned like that Redman improv set, 9/26/15, RR 16, Jakeless Albany and Rochester. But I’m just as big of a 2019 fluffer as any ginger on this board.
I could sit here and name the greatest hits but one jam I always turn to to talk about 2019 jams is 3/1 AIT. First 6-7 mins or so is just some straight forward UM. But around the 10 min mark they tack on a dark, creepy ascending section. I feel like in 2014-2016, this is the point where they would just end the jam or > to what’s next. No huge peaks or anything but I just love this dark, evil side of UMprov in 2019.

2006
2008
No problem with grouping 06-08. It just sucks that they peaked 12 years ago.
There is a new peak in this bands future. I refuse to believe anything else right now.
Nah the future is Goose
FYP
I like 2008 more than 06-07
Flagging this post
For some definition of future, you’re probably right. This is not a future I want to be part of though. Nothing against Goose. I like Arcadia.
Goose is boring and I hope they are not the future lol. They’re good they’re just insanely boring. 2019 is their best year though so it fits the thread
Thank you for putting it into words like this.
