Was reminded of some post show craziness after this one.
Post-show there were tanks going right on the waterfront sidewalk and somebody had balloons on the stone wall. Well, they lost consciousness and fell into the damn harbor with dozens of people there. It’s like a 10 foot drop, pretty dramatic. Some panic ensued until a Good Samaritan (or the persons friend, idk) jumped in and rescue swam the guy over 100’ to the ladder. That took a few minutes and by the time they got to the ladder, a ton of firetrucks, cops and at least one helicopter were on the scene. One cop walks over to verbally harass everyone talking about all the vaccines they’ll have to get after being in the water, etc. from what I recall, the EMTs checked the guy out but there was nothing else to do really. It was a crazy situation to witness while trying to get a ride share.
I did ketamine in the hotel until 2pm (super late checkout lol) then drove to Philly to drop off my rental and catch a late afternoon flight I barely made. This was also my first time trying a dab of rosin. I don’t think I relistened to a single show I saw in 2015…
Did i see you at this show? Were we doing k together?? I remember seeing you at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park and you were talking about driving down to Asheville the next night for a wedding then coming back up for Baltimore. Can’t pick out any memories of us together in Baltimore right now though. This was the night Zach and crew crammed like 17 people in one hotel room
This was also the run where I got the idea to live in Pittsburgh, beginning a 9 year long story arc
Pretty sure we hung out post Virtue on the lawn for a bit but I was up in the pavilion for most of the show. As far as after goes I was doing K in my buddy Walker’s hotel room until we had to leave the property. I remember straightening up the room while everyone else was passed out and I was degenning more finishing what was left of the K laid out. I definitely did not feel great about the drive to Philly after being up all night and morning into afternoon but I’m fairly certain I had to be back for work the next day so I needed to make that flight and you gotta do what you gotta do.
