  • My 100th show, what a great night!!

This show is a lot of fun, kind of gets overlooked due to all of the killer Madison shows in this era.

Relistening today, thought it was funny when Bayliss mentions how he needs a teleprompter before Example 1 and tells KB to mark it down in his notes. All these years later and he finally got one. Also, Stasik plays the fretless bass throughout the entire show, which adds a nice texture. Not sure when the last time he busted that out was, but if he still has it he should use it again sometime.

In A Silent Way > Blue Echo > Walletsworth (hilarious Jake flub at the beginning) > Lyrical Stew > Blue Echo is so fucking good. That 2nd Blue Echo jam is magic.

I would go so far as to say the In a Silent Way > Blue Echo > Walletsworth > Blue Echo is a top 10 all-time UM segment for me. Haven’t listened in too long!
