One of my 10-15 favorites of 220+ shows attended. Just pure fire throughout. Had a buddy get too spun out that night & thought he could walk outside & have a smoke, then come back in. The security guard warned him that he couldn’t re enter, but he took the chance & missed a real gem. He ended up hanging at the dive down the street & drinking with a sketchy hooker & some other rando weirdos for a few hours.
Took me a while to pick my brain on what actually happened here. My buddy walked up to me and my other friend with a 5 strip and said “I had to sign a NDA to get this shit” and was basically floored 27 minutes after that. Only really remember set break and struggling to form sentences from how spun I was. Talked with a dude in the line getting in that had a Vehemence shirt on for a while. Knew I was in the right place but didn’t have a fucking clue what was about to happen. Almost didn’t go too. Wild. Also ended up taking the light rail after to DU to meet up with some buddies that were having a party and one of the dudes there was actually wearing a UM wonka shirt and was from CHI. Was on the phone waiting for train and remember saying “idk what I just went thro but it was some hippy jam band shit” and someone behind me mocked me hahaha SSOME HIPPPY SHIT MANNNN. No clue how I got home to Lakewood that night but damn, what a ride.
