the timing of this is so funny. I was very close to submitting ep182 of the Ben Shapiro podcast for the Music League “testing new speakers” round.
I recently switched to YT music and am pretty happy. No more youtube ads and I can listen to video playlists I’ve created as if it’s only audio. No fucken Morgan Wallen ads or other bullshit like spotify.
I’m about done with my free trial of YTM. I liked how easy it is to search, plus the algorithm isn’t too shabby after a little bit. Accessible lyrics is a big plus too.
Anybody else notice that you had to upgrade to watch streams now?

Introducing the Roku app is pretty great. Nugs has levelled up quite a bit over the years.
Is there a Chromecast/Google TV app in the works?
New design throws me off a little bit, but in the end, the app looks much nicer. Be cool if they introduced the ability to share your playlists like Spotify.
Yah Roku app is a game changer. HDMI from MacBook wasn’t a massive pain or anything but no more cables or worrying about battery is always welcome

Well if you take a look at the sheer number of live and audio streams, I can understand that. I love nugs so much. I remember having to pay $20 or $30 on tourgigs for one Umphrey’s stream. My Nugs subscription pays for itself very quickly with all of the Bisco video/audio, goose’s entire tour right now, etc.
