I miss hard copy tickets in general. I get digital is easier and cheaper, but super lame these days most platforms make you pay extra for hard copy presale tix

I still go to the box office to buy tickets when I can. But box office hours are pretty silly at many venues now. Open 11am-4pm on Thursdays or some shit.

A lot of box offices now just text or email you tickets now.
All the venues here in OKC, minus our arena, allow you to opt in for hard tickets to be picked up at the box office. I still collect mine, if possible.

All hard tickets here still. I don’t know any that won’t give you a hard ticket if you go to the actual box office. Some will send you a duplicate via email, but you still get the hard ticket.
The joke about already being in line used to apply to getting the tickets too.
This is a cool idea but a replica would lose most of the nostalgic value for me I think

I saw my friend open for Faye Webster last night and it was one of the strangest experiences ever. Crowd was almost entirely teenage girls, and they kept passing out. 4 of them went down in their 35 min opening set. They got so annoyed with having to stop for it that they just decided to cut their set short. Was like lord of the flies out there
