Day 3 at Rose on the River kicked som major ass. I was digging the opening act Carrtoons before the show but live they were outstanding. They had a great jazz trio with keys bass and drums laying it down, with two beautiful r&b soul singers.
Domi & JD Beck were awesome and hilarious too with their memes. Arguably best live drum performance I’ve ever seen.
Big fan of GA at the Salt Shed with their more permanent wooden structure for the bleachers. We were able to hangout at the top step all day no issue. The top three steps remind me of the wide bleacher seats at red rocks. Probably will snag that spot for many shows at the venue!

might try to see Tinariwen in August. Last time I planned to see them was in 2022 with Garcia Peoples & the show got canceled.
hopefully will make it out to Peter Rowan & Sam Grisman Project playing Old & in the Way music out at the Mishawaka in August
nothing else on the radar for now. happy in my little bubble up in the mountains. should make more of an effort to see the local music in town.

would loooooveee to go to Rocky Mtn Grass or Rocky Mtn Folk fest next door in Lyons at Planet Bluegrass but I am a brrrroke bitch that werks weekends anyway. Maybe next year!
