I remember a bunch of bros watching a college football game during the 2012 Tabby NYE run. Didn’t get it then and still don’t, but I ain’t a huge sports guy so guess if that’s your thing, you do you.
EDIT: or maybe it was a NFL playoff game. Either way

huge sports guy but I’ve never streamed a game at a show. the closest thing I can recall of that nature is missing Games 4-6 of the Blackhawks vs Red Wings playoff series when the Blackhawks came back from being down three games to one.
it was real fun checking the score when we remembered.
They used to project Blackhawks playoff games on the ceiling of the Soulshine Tent at summer camp. My brother missed a handful of good sets because he was in that tent watching the game.

I skipped the last day of Bonnaroo in 2017 to be at the Preds Penguins Stanley Cup Final game where the good guys lost the series. Only act I was bummed to miss was The Weeknd. Was cool to see the physical cup in person though

Only time I can remember watching a game at an UM show was when the cubs were in the playoffs during the fall 2016 Phillymore run. It felt like the whole crowd was streaming the end of the game during setbreak, and it seemed like there was an unspoken acceptance that the band wasnt going to come back on until it was over. When they won, the boys came out and commented on it a bit, took a brief victory lap and then jumped into set 2.
Good times, and one of my favorite 3 night runs!

We were in Nola for Jazzfest in 2008. Jazzfest > Hornets vs Spurs playoffs game > 2:30am UM late night at HoB was top tier sports and music intermingling.
