Higgins was the song that got me into liveUM, way back from podcast 11. Now I can’t stand it.
I could catch HBB every show and be happy. It’s my fav um song. Crunchy prog all day

HBB has had enough solid versions lately (I’ve seen 2 this year - Asheville and Caverns) to let it squeak back into S for me. Always good to have two S’s and a B - feel like I’ve been being too negative lately

I dunno even the “better” versions these days seem mostly the same. Off hand I can’t even think of a standout version I’ve seen.
This round probably inched me a little closer to Fluffer status from Cynic… I like Higgins better than most (I like the end and it has provided some solid jams), while HBB and ITK are two of the songs I first heard that got me into the band and have been solid jam vehicles more often than not.
The only reason Higgins got D from me is because of jams and that Jake solo at the end. Other than that, awful song.
