I didn’t vote on the poll but I prefer the immediate visibility because it’ll lend to better discussion. Nobody is gonna talk about “why’d you vote x on y” or “can’t believe so many people love/hate y” when it’s 7 days old and buried by more recent comments and polls

I’ll say I had DBK as C tier because it’s 1) a bit too long of a composition, 2) takes too long to get to a jam section, 3) only gets jammed maybe half the time and is too frequently sandwich fodder instead, and 4) often has cringy umphreys “bring out your lighters” banter.
In terms of those styles of compositions (long and heavy) I much prefer HBB and WBG

Speaking of outlier votes hey @cshore I’m curious why you aren’t big on Draconian. Imo it’s a unique and fun composition that usually leads to some good jams

The DBK hate is making me sad 
But I guess if you’re not into UM for the prog, it can really be a 30-minute commitment that is not worth much sometimes. I miss when it was a more consistent vehicle though. Too many classic jams have come out of it to ever rate it below C tier, IMO.

Used to be a great jam vehicle and now it’s basically a set eater. I don’t want to hold my lighter up for Bayliss and isn’t part of the song is Hall of the Mountain King or whatever that composition is? The main riff is badass though
