Cool, itâs probably my favorite outdoor venue. If you have time, get there early and purchase a pass to tour the gardens themselves.

Des Moines will not sell out. Val Air is big. Clear Lake is a big venue in a small town. You will be fine.

Surprising, isnât it.
They expanded capacity slightly a few years ago when they added bleachers in the back. Lots of corporate sponsor season tickets as well so itâs basically a sell out for any show that comes to town.

Not making a setlist thread but fun first set in DSM. Nemo, Kabump, and Sociable Jimmy all had solid jams. Place is very undersold.

super pumped for the surf ballroom! will be only my second time seeing UM outside of MN - first being fargo 2011.

Was just reading about Waylon Jennings the other day, and in turn the plane crash, and made the connection to the venue.
I hate that song so much. The Surf is cool though. Saw Bill Burr there in 2017.

Toured the surf ballroom a few months ago. Itâs a really cool place, theyâve done a great job renovating and turning the place into a 1950s rock and roll history museum.
