Feeling surprisingly good after a wedding and various wedding events. If anyone sees any cheap caverns tix lmk, may go and drive back but something about an $80+ Umphrey’s ticket just doesn’t sit right with me

After thinking on it for a bit, I wanted to share a couple minor observations from going to a show.
-
there was a kind and family like atmosphere at the Salt Shed show. I felt like i saw so many happy reunions, and reading lips that were saying “it’s been so long since a show.” or “i missed you”. Shit like that always makes me happy.

with that… there was a lot of people chomping. I couldn’t turn my head without seeing people talking. Don’t like it lol.

being hard of hearing with no hearing aids at a show probably means that I’m the most comfortable person in the venue. Soundboard was perfect for me lol.

Honestly one of my favorite things about seeing live music is the community it can foster. Nothing better than seeing friends you see once or twice a year and you get to share a great experience. That’s why my road trip was the best, getting to hang with so many people I love and see some great shows.

Her Vet Bro husband switched seats and asked if I wanted to “escalate things” to which I responded, “Im sorry if I hurt her feelings but It’s not my fault your wife can’t act like an adult.” He didn’t say a word after that and they left early.

A stupid wasted army dude yelled at my mom and dad at a Willie show. They were mad because my parents were standing up and the army dude and his wife were so wasted that they couldn’t stand and couldn’t see.

Trying to figure out if I’m coming to Asheville. Chances are I just go for King Gizz on Friday.
This. Ran into an acquaintance I made at Boston airport after UMBowl at the Indianapolis show Saturday. Thought I’d never see her again. We were all elated as fuck to run into each other again and share our joy before the show this time. I love this band and the scene around it so much
