Given I was willing to go all the way from TN to Milwaukee to see Porcupine Tree, I think I’m in for the Tabby Hope the album’s good!
Got tickets to the DC show.
none of the shows worked particularly well for me, but i got a Denver pair for the “wife” and I
I’m in for Boston. Excited!
Got my Tabby tix.
He’s so pretentious
“I said to Randy: ‘We’re going to reinvent the notion of the extended classic rock solo’,” Wilson explained. “I told Randy: ‘This is going to be the not ‘Comfortably Numb’ solo
Wilson’s wife Rotem, who recites facts about Earth’s distances from other planets and galaxies on the title track.
In some good news, sounds like more PT is also in the works
Happy 10 year birthday to Hand. Cannot. Erase., one of my favorite albums of all time! It’s perfect.
What are your favorite parts?
Mine are:
- the organ solo in 3 years older
- The break down in 7 in the middle of ancestral all the way to the end of the song. Such an amazing and atypical build.
- Happy returns is a perfect album closer. It often brings me to tears.
Love the ripping bass line that “ends” the intro of 3 years older.
All of ancestral.
The mellotron/acoustic section of Routine.
Also everything you already mentioned. It is a perfect album
Raven’s 12th anniversary was also a couple days ago
So hard to pick favorite parts of that record. Even the sections that wouldn’t stick out to me as stuff I’d love (like perfect life) are so perfect in context. I still listen pretty regularly, but just did a full listen through at my desk.
So many times I’ve been listening to this song around someone(s) and right before this line I tell everyone to shut up and listen.
Got a shipping notification for my bluray and vinyl!
What about that big ol tub of mayonnaise and the dvd of what I cannot say?
Listened to first track on the way to work. Prog steven is back!
There’s a new SW album?
Summary
/s of course. I’m listening on my iPhone speakers now.
I’m waiting to listen until I get the Blu-ray
Im waiting until @Random_Ass submits it to music league next season
Bruh the last SW album I liked came out 10 years ago (well, not counting PT)
First track was good. Gonna go take a shit before I listen to the next one.
Wow that is a long shit.
