Time for my obligatory question of should i listen to these guys and if so, what’s your recs? I’ve heard their cover of Dirty Laundry before and I liked it.

oooh really? An often over-looked Curtis song

Oh, nevermind, it’s not Curtis, it’s something else.

If I felt like putting them on right now I’d listen to that Plush mentioned above.

That Plush is fantastic. 9/8/23 is a fucking great show, too.

It’s up there for sure. For some reason, I can’t get enough of the 8/16 America. Short and sweet (for them). And just hits right

What’s the typical sound like?

note from last night’s show, haha: “Drunk dude fell into our equipment and shut the entire power down during the encore - crowd sang the rest of the song to end the night.”

Someone also passed out and needed medical attention in the middle of set 2.

Band loves the Get Down, Get Down loves the band. Place was raucous. And a mess.

It seems like with the new bassist settling in the band isn’t noodling as much, just finding a dance pocket to build off of.

Unfamiliar as I only listen to prehistoric funk and the famous Umphrey’s untz.

Gotta listen to some recent shows with the new bassist before I see ‘em in ATL next month. Need 3 firemost show recs…

Don henley…which is surprising because most of his song writing is so lame
