iâm less upset
Joelâs the best
I guess I kind of buy that. COVID did do some damage to my passion for work, I have to imagine thereâs still some lingering awkwardness and discomfort.
Truth.
edit: wish i had read joelâs tweet before i replied.
Ya dingus
i deleted it before he saw it hopefully. canât expose myself to jam band twitter again.
Thatâs a hell I donât wish on anyone
Almost as bad as having kpop twitter on your back
my god dude. exactly this. insane people.
Drugs are a hell of a drug. One time I thought Michael Kang was the coolest guy ever in the moment. That shit doesnât wear off for some people. Harder to explain kpop.
Was awaiting the inevitable tweet and Joelâs reply. Like I said I did figure it was somewhat getting used to playing shows again. UM tends to want to execute flawlessly more than other jam bands so it makes sense out of any band that theyâll be slower to get back to diving deep and taking more risks. Hope Joel can pull it out and get them back to 2019ing again.
I really do feel like we were headed into a new golden age of UM with 2019 and the start of 2020 before the pandUMic
Was calling for a 1st set Passing in Des Moines. With a JO too? Wouldâve been tight
Fuck I love a good Plungey. Bring back 20 minute PlunJOTYs and IDGAF what else they do for the rest of the show
That stood out to me as the most painful cut
Jake specifically is very anal about this. After Indy 2019, he was dwelling on playing two wrong notes back to back during a jam like he had shot someone in the back.
It makes me wonder why they will do something like Thunderstruck where a major aspect of the song (the vocals in this case) sound absolutely terrible.
Probably because 90% of the crowd is loving it
And all jam band vox are terrible either way
