His knee is bent making it look a little weird.

Interesting article in Spin this morning about UM’s show in NYC after 9/11, replete with interviews from the band and heavy sigh KB

This fucking guy.

Seems like they’re really going for it lately. I got some catching up to do. @opsopcopolis and @ridingwiththeking put a recent show on in the van last night but I slept through it

What’s the shortlist of must hear jams from the last month or so?

Paging @Bron-yr-Aur and @kev347 and @Zencer - I see y’all post the most about listening to the recent shows.

I really dug the Miami Virtue from Reno. A lot of people raved about the Ringo from San Diego. There was a great Bad Friday on the West Coast tour I forget which show though. The Slacker and Crooked One from the Vic were great on the stream and I’ve revisited both several times.

Still disappointed unfortunate circumstances from my understanding caused the Midwest D.U.M.B. tour to not get streamed…I am trying to get to 150 streams right now and I haven’t heard those shows yet cause I am still bummed I didn’t get to add them to my stats.

Gotta keep those stream stats up. I believe 150 streams counts for about 87.6 shows

You don’t even want to know about the changes to the algorithm at this point. There is a multiplier if you restream the show on Twitch now lol. The things people will do to up that show count,

All of the past 10 shows are super high quality, not a single dud and only a couple mediocre sets. Going back to Summercamp this might be the best stretch of UM since Fall 2013.

8/24 Dayville Monarchy
8/25 Crooked > N2F & Slacker
9/1 Escape Goat & Ringo
9/2 Bad Friday & Floor
9/3 Escape Goat, Nurse > Plunger
9/4 Triple Wide > Kitchen
9/8 Pure Saturation & Puppet
9/9 Escape Goat
9/10 Kabump & Bridgeless

That Slacker is the most hyped jam I’ve seen in a while so I’m gonna start there

Pretty thorough list! I haven’t listened to last night yet but I’m about to now. I would add 9/1 Seasons and Conduit - 9/1 really is an absurd show. 9/9 Looks is pretty choice as well - very atypical jam there for that song.

I also like the part where bayliss cops to drunk driving and getting away with it

@Bron-yr-Aur nailed it. And @kev347 I agree with you as well, that 9/1 Conduit made it on my picks playlist, and I also loved the 9/4 Dump City

To add I also was digging the Tinkle’s from last night 9/10

Definitely a sick Slacker. Felt pretty unique vibe-wise too

9/9 Escape Goat immediately reminds me of 5/27/11 Red Tape with Joel doing those little sweeping pad rhythms

9/4 Kitchen and Junk are two of the more @cshore-y jams of the tour

Don’t get me wrong, I like that he does this and love his fan interaction, but aren’t these more or less just compilations of all the songs they jammed?

Kinda seems like it tbh, at least I didn’t think there were 17 noteworthy tracks from those 3 shows.

Yeah, but maybe hes just showing VFJ that songs can only be noteworthy if they have improv
