FWIW I thought biscuits had the better highs of last night but def trainwrecked/spun tires at points. UM was consistent and exceeded my expectations from the improv side of things.

It is funny you say that cause my buddy is a huge Biscuits fan and he just did Nola and now is on a hiatus cause of how inconsistent he feels they are right now. He told me all momentum from 2017-2019 was gone today. To me, that’s the same as it ever was. High risk high reward band. I’m digging what I heard tonight though.

Ya man. They’ve been this way their whole career. The lows are fucking awful. But man the highs are so high that they’re better than what any band does when on

After listening to and seeing UM nonstop from 2004-2008 I really got into the Biscuits beginning in 08. By 2011 I went back to enjoying UM more bc the Biscuits had entered their crappy era.

I still love both bands but the Biscuits gets a little repetitive to me at times, whereas UM doesn’t because in the end I enjoy a majority of their catalog more. I also am 44 and don’t do drugs any more so the constant untz doesn’t do much for my old ass hahaha
