Questionable Moves by the Band…

That’s just good booking by management.

Only once by the full band but they’ve played it at various Jake and Brendan shows and other things

I didn’t know the BG Martyrs was the only one. Heady stats. Actually have very fond memories of that performance. Jamband cringe in the best ways.

Yikes this big time. All their videos and that Waful documentary are embarassingly bad.

I’m not a Goose fan but the production value of that Fred movie is perfectly simple and all it needs to be.

Just hire professional film makers instead of throwing your friends a bone eveytime.

Having Manny Sanchez produce basically all their albums. Thankfully I think the next one may have a change.

The touring strategy on the West Coast.

  • In 2013, UM scheduled a show in Eugene… during UO’s Spring Break.
  • Following up a rowdy 2-night run in Missoula in 2017 with a fucking Wednesday show in 2018 and NO show at all in 2019. Great way to maintain market interest.

@OSUmBeaverPhreak the prompt is open for you to continue.

Their Portland strategy has been kind of odd since I moved here in July 2012. They didn’t play the market at all in 2013. They played one night in 2014. Then they did two nights in 2015, selling out one. Again in 2016 they did two nights, selling out one. Next they skip Portland in 2017, with Sandpoint at six hours being the closet stop on tour. They come back for two nights in 2018. Then they skip it again 2019. Come back in 2020 for one night and don’t sell out. They could have built up to three nights if they didn’t skip in 2017 & 2019, but instead they ignored the market and undersold on their next time through.

Im sure they made up for it in whatever other markets they played instead.

Rescheduling Iceland for March '22 and not providing anything in terms of an update or more information since July '21.

Ugh yes. Like I feel that they just dont have confidence that it will happen

Can pretty much guarantee it’s not happening. Sorry, but to be fair your 1st mistake was putting so much effort into seeing a 3rd tier jamband

edit: this was more for @chicagostylehotdog , and also it sucks i agree

Not sure if you’re being sarcastic, but if not, why do you say that? I don’t see any reason to assume Iceland won’t be happening at this point…

Currently no events over 500 capacity allowed in Iceland. While that restriction is set to expire in the next week, there’s not much of a reason to expect them to lift it considering Omicron concerns and surging cases across US and Europe.

Well that’s not good. I really hope they are able to pull this off for all of you going.
