Freaking yikes. I have never seen equipment issues derail a show to this extent. Oh well. It’s a shame because AIT > Pig (Pig especially - that peak!) was money. But everything from IDM on was marred by Ryan’s recurring bass pedal issues. Having a stream was helpful for context here - listening to audio doesn’t make it apparent that they were doing a ton of time filling for him.

If they never return to IDM after the “jam” slot does that mean it is unfinished? Because that happened here. Not sure it has happened before.

I do have to say their playing over the past few shows makes me wish I was doing more than one. Might try and find a way to unlazify myself and do Caverns GA.

I really cannot take weekends so that puts a big crimp in my ability to see shows. Wilmington is sold out and a bit of a hike for me and I’m only planning on doing B’Ham.

Adulting is difficult.

After listening to the Pontiac shows, here are my power rankings of the Plan Bee shows:

5/1 Atlanta N2
5/15 Chicago N2
4/30 Atlanta N1
5/7 New Haven N1
5/28 Pontiac N1
5/8 New Haven N2
5/14 Chicago N1
5/29 Pontiac N2

This could definitely change, but Atlanta is the standout run for sure and I could see an argument for New Haven or Chicago as the #2 weekend. I haven’t really revisited much of the shows besides 5/1 and 5/15 but it was fun being excited to listen to fresh UM shows again
