Plan Bee Tour

They’re shows are a party. None of the members are insanely talented but they have some fun songs and don’t take themselves too seriously. Good crowds too. Love me some salmon.

Ehh idk man. I saw Billy and Don Julin at a coffee shop in TC for the first time in 2013 and I knew that kid was gonna be HUGE

I am sure you’d love them lol

I won’t deny that Greensky’s fanbase was definitely used as a launching pad by Billy but I think he’d be pretty damn close to where he’s at without them. I mean shit, last night he jammed with Santana and he was asked to write the music for a song with Robert Hunter lyrics.

Hope you and the wife are doing well, my man.

Good to hear. Now that it is officially week of, I am starting to get some FOMO about Chicago. I could easily go, but also just a bit broke, tired from traveling, and my car just broke down. Need to stay home and be good.

I use to see LOS all the time back in 2002-2004. One of my first real loves. Drew Emmitt is a badass, as was Mark Vann (RIP). Vince is a great frontman and always put a smile on my face. I really miss Mark Vann and then Noam Pikenly as the banjo players, but they are still fun nowdays. The Under the Influence tour with Del McCoury Band is some of my fondest early “party” band shows.

Based on their name and my dislike of jamgrass, I think I’ll continue on with my life without ever hearing a note

My dad likes a couple of their songs but always forgets their name. Occasionally he’ll ask me… what’s that band with the great Bob Dylan cover? Uncooked Salmon?

If you dislike jamgrass you would probably HATE salmon lmao

Sure as the sun shines my dude

Leftover can go from super goofy to serious on a dime, and I am all about that. I almost preferred the Drew Emmitt Band, though. That was just some straight up lets do some cocaine and drink whiskey bluegrass, right there.

Drew Emmit is probably the drunkest human I’ve ever met in my life

He is always so shit faced. Somehow Springfield, where I live, has a really solid LOS following. Vince and Drew use to come here all the time with their side bands (Vince and Tim Carbone have a show here in like two weeks) and holy shit can those dudes party. I remember sitting next to Drew at an after party one year after an Emmit Nershi Band show, and Drew pretty much only had one eye open from midnight-5am. He could barely function, but that did not stop him from flirting with every lady who walked by or from absolutely crushing a few mando solos for us as the birds started chirping

would bore you to tears.

Oh so it’s jamgrass? Got it

Lmao that sounds exactly like my couple experiences with partying with him. The dude is a savage. My friend almost got in a fist fight with him at Strings and Sol one year because they’re both drunk dumb asses and drew was hitting on his fiancé. To this day he still wants to kick his ass.
