Still so pissed they rescheduled the California run to a holiday weekend. Basically doubled the original price.
umphreys has too much of a flow problem for me to ever be hype about seeing them post phish.
Valid. It does look like a sick venue. I would just like to go somewhere else tbh
I never actually want this but Vegas
They would probably sell more tickets to a phish after party show versus a regular show.
Vegas would be sick for New Years. They haven’t been to the Brooklyn Bowl in like four years now and Nevada is long overdue for some heaters. Personally I’d love three nights in Tahoe for New Years so we could shred the gnar while seeing the band. Always surprised they haven’t ventured out from Aspen (ok ok I guess the Hive in Sandpoint kind of counts) for a ski trip run to take the fans on.
I would love to see them book some overpriced shows at the Crystal Bay Casino (AKA Community Blackout Center) like Cheese did.
UM has played some amazing shows at the Crystal Bay Casino but they also have unfortunately cancelled a handful through the years because of weather-related issues getting there.
Gimme that 3 night run mid March
Although they have some southeastern tour dates coming up (above the caverns and birmingham), any chance NYE could potentially be in a southern market? Probably a pipe dream, but wondering if Nashville @ the Ryman is a possibility with the Ascend show being full blown canceled. Dates are open from the 23rd-6th as well.
Especially with Miami being the plan for 2020, part of me is curious if they’ll try something southern.
2021 is the year they play the safest market they have for the guaranteed $$. Which pretty much narrows it down to ATL or Denver if I had to guess.
Ryman is too small for a run like NYE, that venue is better for one off runs and shows.
Probably announcing the Fillmore after N3 of Red Rocks
It’s a year that has a remainder of 1 when divided by 2, of course its Denver
My inside sources have been saying Omaha for a couple months now. Getting info from same guy as @StoneJackBaller so pretty much kangfirmed
Flights booked and hotel reserved. You better not be wrong.
The Ryman sucks, they could easily do a NYE run at the Brooklyn Bowl here
Interesting take. I feel like everyone loves The Ryman.
To be fair i’ve only seen UM there and thought it sounded awful. Don’t think that venue is really suited for more rock type bands.
