My kind of annual August concert, seems like a good time to see moe. for the first time.
Gonna assume it’s going to be 1.5 hour sets for each with alternate encores.
Have you been to Ravinia before? Get pavilion tickets if you go. Lawn is all just people sitting and eating charcuterie boards. You cant hear the music really and can only see band on video boards. Its like if there was a watch party at Yale. The pavillion is great though.

last ravinia they didn’t even set up most of the screens, I remember we had no view of a screen or the stage from where we were posted up.
interesting that they are returning, doesn’t seem like Highland Park or Ravinia enjoyed the show. I remember seeing so many complaints on the local Ravinia groups back when they played. one old lady claimed they found needles everywhere lmao.

Bummed I’ll be out of the country for the Cleveland date. That venue is a beautiful little amphitheater in a great park. Saw Wilco there last year and loved it. I’d recommend it for anyone on the fence
My August is going to be busy, UM/Moe. then Billy Strings two weeks later.

Been wanting to make it out to NC/SC for a while. Got some friends in Raleigh who would definitely join us for an UM show, and I want to see my Aunt & Uncle in Greenville, SC.
Now I need to decide on if we should hit one of these shows, or the Black Mountain, NC show over Memorial Day weekend.
Any input appreciated. Will be my first time visiting any of these places.
How miserable is the weather in Charlotte or Outer Banks in July? Is that reason enough to go for Black Mountain instead?

Pisgah is one of the best outdoor venues in the SE.
July at OBX is def not miserable though. Its just peak season and the beaches will be busy as fuck.
