Iām just here for the stasik slander. If you arenāt an attractive female he will openly be rude to you, as if itās a funny joke. Never met a dude who disrespected his fanbase as much. Especially a fanbase as loyal as UM

Iām all for it lmao. In a world where there isnāt much accountability and people fail upwards, sometimes the only justice is that everybody knows somebody is an asshole and donāt shut up about it. Just like the Biscuits will probably fail upwards with Marlon and there wonāt be any ājusticeā for Allen but itās gratifying knowing that Jon and Brownie will continue having to deal with people trashing them in their IG comments.
Counter point: i was massively blacked out once after asbury park show and stasik put up with my drunk ass and was nice to me (says the people i was with)

FWIW, I was witness to the dick drawing incident (or at least the one on 2/3/12ā¦were there others?) and that kid was being real weird. He kept asking Joel to take his pants off, among other things, and security ended up pulling him away from the meet & greet table.

I always thought Stasik was a dick. Met him once in 2012 or 2013 and he was super dismissive to us. We didnāt even approach him. He walked up to us and said āsoā¦you guys want me to sign your shit or what?ā We didnāt even have anything to sign. We were just hanging out. We still quote that to this day. So he gave us that.
Then I met him again in 2017 at the Tahoe Harveyās poker table before their show. He sat next to me for like six hours while we played no limit hold 'em. And he was chill and cool af. There were two other UM fans at the table and we were talking about how we follow the band around to the other regulars and Stasik put everyone at the table on the guest list. It changed my entire opinion of him. You sit with a dude for six hours playing cards you get to know 'em.
You listen to that show Bayliss even calls out how Stasik disappeared all day playing poker.

I guess weāll have a notable update about Jakeās future with the band when the band takes the stage on Friday 5/22, huh. Maybe weāll get an announcement a day or two ahead of time.

I would presume the band will make an announcement either way.
If Jake isnāt there for the start or the summer tour, Iād be surprised if we see him regularly tour with them again.

I was the victim of an such an incident after the show at First Ave in 2013. I was sober, gave him a compliment, and asked for him to sign my UM shirt. Got a dick sharpeeād on my forehead. As a big fan of UM, and pretty young at the time, it hurt a little. I met with him again 12 years later, gently confronted him about it, and he was apologetic and was gentlemanly, so all was forgiven. People can change. I canāt imagine what itās like to live your life on the road for all your adult life, Iām sure itās super hard at times.
