2nd night of the salt shed this year was my last jake show. Pretty happy with that. I did remember thinking he seemed pretty detached on stage, like he was towards the back of the stage a lot of the show. Could have just been the drugs (me not jake, though maybe jake).

Kinda weird Jake says āsee you next timeā at the end of the show. I wonder if he even realized then that it would be his last.

Maybe he was planning on going full time with WW all along.

we might never know what happened in San Diego but clearly something pivotal did happen there. Jake played a Sunday night show with WW, on Monday they announced he wouldnāt be playing on the tour, on Tuesday they played in San Diego without him.

Fuck Trump and ICE for killing Alex Pretti and getting the Minneapolis show cancelled because I could have had my last Jake show be a hometown show. Instead my last show was Madison which I barely remember anything interesting happening during (and I was PT sober)

Last Jake show was in Hartford this February. Thought it was a really fun show and got a Wizard which is likely gone forever, so Iām grateful for that. Years ago they had said they one day wanted to do a studio WBG with an orchestra, too bad that never came to fruition.
I was thinking about that earlier too. My last Jake show was also in Madison and @DiabetesCOLE got me really drunk as is tradition.

Iām being tongue in cheek about it because obviously the people who were killed is a much bigger problem than a concert being cancelled but it had such a direct effect on something thatās personally important to me (my UM stats) itās easy/funny to think of it as āif you voted for Trump, you fucked up my last Jake showā

Anybody got a running list of songs they havenāt played since Jakeās last show? And/or tunes not yet played with Scotty?
Same boat. I drove from Madison to Minneapolis solo to watch that show and it got canceled 15 minutes after I arrived. Really wish we could have seen what they had planned for that night. But now my lasting image of Jake will be him playing his guitar with the light rig
