GR was full on Brownie putting down his bass and playing keys during the middle of both sets. I like it all but feel like I would have enjoyed tonight better, but its all good.
I mean it sounds like you still had a great time at GR. And now you’re posting on this thread. You’ve got the itch now.

Yeah its gotten much better from spraypaint on has been sick. Climb into Iman didnt sound like Iman at all but it worked.

It’s actually hard to listen to UM and switch over to tDB. The lengthy transitions, jams, and improv (not to mention the full sets without stops for banter) is something else. Let’s take take the entrance into Spray paint tonight as an example.
I understand UM (except their new songs), but it’s absolutely predictable. This is something else.
That was weird too. I think it was inverted, but they didnt play the end part…they went straight into the middle of the song.

Well they completely abandoned that and fucked around. > Dribble sounded very forced. Should’ve kept that jam in Helix going. Sounded like it was headed towards Champions almost
i’m not usually an EMD guy but the build and drop from 6:20-6:52 in "Losing It " in GR was something to catch in the moment. it was memorable enough to find and relisten.
I thought thats what you were talking about the other night. That show was better than either CHI show imo.
Tonights show has been kinda sloppy and all over the place, but the highs are high
