Side note - the biscuits have been playing well this year while simultaneously not really impressing me all that much improv-wise. Like, it feels like they’re taking a more UM-like approach with the jams. Things aren’t being fleshed out as much as years passed. Barber’s playing is exceptional though and still makes things enjoyable.

By the looks of their set lists it does seem like they’re putting more songs with less room for improv in them. For the record; I haven’t listened to an entire biscuits shows from to back since 2019

I never listen to the Biscuits, was supposed to do Birmingham and IOP last night but had to bail on both.
I do love seeing them, have seen almost 220 shows but I am not going out of my way to see them and if I am able to catch them I’ll have a phenomenal time.

Not even fanboi-ing. Have A Cigar w/ Kanika last night was 10000× better than I saw UM do it with Kanika at RR. She sounded great. And the crowd absolutely lost their minds. Even @SteamboatCame had fun.
Side note, Babz sounded clean af last night. Ready to roll through outer spaces with muh bruvas again tonight

I pretty much took the night off of booze and substances last night. Most sober I’ve ever been at boscoe and still raged. Woke up today well rested and had a great brunch. My homie decided to drive my car to Raleigh so the “wife” and I are enjoying some road sodas. Ready to get after it a little bit tonight!

Not sure why people are so anti sit in on this board sure I’ve seen some bad ones and good ones. But it’s not like the whole show had sit ins and for a cover is fine with me most of the time. Kanika fux too.
Also side not that venue looks really cool, definitely want to see a show there.
