Next time! Every minute is so precious at these events, I don’t regret a second of how I spent it but I’m always open to expanding the community

I’m still processing and reflecting so my opinion may change over time. I had an amazing experience overall. It was disappointing that so much music was cancelled (I pretty much just saw UM, the New Deal 1x and Brendan Bayliss) when the weather was pretty mild at its worst. Also there was basically no night time swimming pool situation (we pushed it until they kicked us out lol) which is a big deal for me because I associate Holidaze with being in the water as much as possible. Those were my two criticisms / things I hope they can improve for the next iteration. It didn’t ruin my time by any means though!

made friends with the lobby staff at the Residence Inn we were staying at for the Solana Beach shows. no curfew for the hot tub & pool was a major win. show → drinks & spliffs in the hot tub → denny’s → more spliffs in the hot tub.
I’d definitely expect that would be standard at a resort south of the border.

Yeah it was an amazing time…other than the digger on the Flowrider…Im an only beer drinker kinda guy but that later start day I had the great idea to drink whiskey sours…pretty sure some were just straight whiskey and than they just started giving me Gin and Tonics…so needed some help from a friend to get to the room that night…But was an absolute blast.
Also having so many people ask if I was Ok through the weekend after the digger was really nice.
