Talking Heads cover was fun as hell and then second set I was pretty impressed a few times. Ton of fun, plus I got to see like 10 friends I don’t get to see often.

Gotta imagine there were segues in that S1. Can’t imagine them not segueing outta TMBTP.

Fucking love Sweet Melinda and Land’s End. My wife walked down the aisle to Land’s End.

Glad to hear you had fun @Zencer they are a special but different band than you are used to.

I was smiling most of the night, it was consistently just fun throughout the whole show. Top notch hangs too, feeling really happy today

I’m not a big bluegrass guy but after last night I can see why people are so into Billy/Cheese. I liked how Cheese mixed it up and it wasn’t all bluegrass. Also everyone there was so happy, it was great.

Also it was fun to go to a show and just not care and have 0 expectations / know any songs.

Coolest part about this is that they didnt market it as an “all improv” set a la Denver NYE Ringo

I’m not a fan of that Ringo. Haven’t listened in a while but i remember thinking that every jam felt composed

I was a hater immediately (shocking I know). Fuck that “jam”

Funny enough Hollingsworth from Cheese is sitting in.

Sorry guys!! I’m just getting re-acclimated to the real world. Been in the Keys for a week.

@toomanypomas42 you make it last night? If so, what you think?

Unfortunately I did not. Dropped $250 on Stevie Wonder tickets and another couple hundred on insurance and other bills. Funds are dry until my next pay day lol. Was looking for a cheaper tocker but had no luck. If only they played the Fillmore, I can get into that place for free anytime.

Solid setlist. If I get a Restless Wind and Valley of the Jig in a show, I’d be happy. Rain a solid opener choice as well

The real winner (oddly enough) was the One and Only jam. Had it at 9-10 min.

Edit - show just posted. It was 9:53 jam. Great stuff.
