Stupid liberals building their cities so far away
Youāre really selling them on touring there
Donāt listen to @Random_Ass , heās not thinking national
Nah just rationally
The West Coast is the most challenging place to tour for small to medium sized bands, that being said it helps that they are based in CO and not the East Coast with regards to cost getting out that way.
the main gist is that the smaller scene means less money, and the relative distance and smaller count of markets means those lower offers have more of an impact. The good local bands donāt really want support from first in market touring bands, and the bigger bands play smaller rooms, so either donāt want support, or want a group with market history.
We WILL get out there, and itās probably our main target region, itās just a matter of getting the right offers in the right time frame to make it all come together. The biggest missing link is an anchor date, a high paying, low ticket commitment show. Something private, soft ticket (think breweries), festival, etc that helps finance the tour in a single shot.
We actually did get a festy offer in Portland this year, it just didnāt time out well with some personal conflicts sadly.
Appreciate the context a lot. Makes sense.
Plus I hate it up there
Some friends that are traveling around the southwest US seeing biscuits are listening to SqFt.
They were out of town for biscuits or spafford when SqFt came through ATL, but they get it now.
I have friends that are planning to go to Mission Ballroom on Friday for SqFtās opening set, then hoof it to Boulder for the Disco Biscuits as soon as the set is over.

Dope.
Very sick
Nice, but eyes and elbows?
Man, I really dig that. Hope you guys come back to WI soon. Iād love to have that oneā¦.
I am hoping for Portland and Seattle shows this year. I think I could pull those off. Depends on when, but I wish to believe.
I will say that we did confirm our first show west of Utah already. Itās not a coastal city show, but at least helps lay that groundwork. News to come
But I want to come now
Iām not going to Twin Falls.
