this is good stuff
Ridin with the king in the Portland Dar Bon right now
Continuing the discussion from Check out my band, Squeaky Feet! (Part 1):
EDIT: Goddamn this jam keeps getting better. This band is absolutely full of fucking themes and ideas.
I didnât know they named a venue after me
Do yâall ever talk about what vibe the initial jam out of a composed section will be? Not precomposed themes, but like if youâre gonna go hard or chill, whoâs going to start, etc⌠it always sounds organic and after watching some of the videos, itâs interesting to me that there isnât a ton of visual communication at the transition points into a jam.
They have vibrating butt plugs that are controlled at the soundboard. Like the chess guy/Frank Reynolds
Well, of course. I thought it was known that all jambands have connected vibrating butt plugs
No
They donât talk about it because theyâve already practiced the jams note for note ahead of time.
This Dar Bon changes moods a lot and i absolutely love it.
The 2024/04/24 Philly Overview â CtG is one of the silkiest smooth segues Iâve ever heard a jam band do. The CtG riff is being teased in the last few minutes of the jam, but uniquely so that the drop was still a complete surprise to me.
I literally do not drive anywhere and this is why I drive to your shows, for a chance to witness stuff like this live. WOOO!
I loved that jam so much live. Definitely a buttery segue.
Giving thanks with a sqft marathon today. Starting with 10/30 on. This firm it up is a great start. Any chance the most recent shows will be up on bandcamp before the next bandcamp firday on Dec 6th?
Planning on it
The reason I checked out SqFt was because a few years ago @opsopcopolis put a sticker in my secret Santa gift. I vaguely remembered seeing a bort thread with them in the title, but I hadnât clicked it yet. So, stickers work, I guess.
This could be huge for you guys
Iâm not sure I quite understand how a âwordâ can have a âspaceâ in it. Wouldnât this be⌠two words?
This could be really huge for you guys
