Show is up on nugs. Great sit in Colin, sounded like the crowd ate it up too

Bridgeless is hot. The composed parts sound great but the interplay between Brendan and Colin during the jam is even more impressive.

I’d be fine with this Colin guy as a 6th. Bassline to start the Bridgeless jam immediately evoked 8/23/13 Resolution, which was a hell of a jam.

Not to be hyperbolic but Bridgeless is great. I guess i didn’t know how much i do miss a 2nd git in the band.

Just started listening to Bridgeless, love what Colin adds to this.

Hope Squeaky Feet gets some love from UM if NYE is in Colorado.

This was the only show I did but I thought it was great. I caught them this summer with moe. and Bayliss was definitely still feeling things out. He seemed super comfortable last night. Could also be because it was the last night of a 3 night run. Came out shredding in Pig and his solo in Mad Love was sick. I think the progression was slightly different than what they used to do too (@hbbubblebath where does this Mad Love rank?)

I remember really liking the Pure Satch and Red Tape a lot. Corduroy is one of my favorite PJ songs so I was hyped for that.

Unfortunate placement of the sit ins being at the end of the set but was still fun to see. Joel was cheesin the whole time.

It goes without saying but I’m so hyped for Colin. He worked his @ass off on these songs and crushed. Obvious hometown bias but it’s definitely the best sit in post Jake. I’m sure this will lead to more sit ins or an opening slot in the future.

Combination of the two would make for some great Nugs streams for me at the end of 2026.

I actually prefer Colin’s playing to Jake (at least compared to Jake over the last decade or so),.maybe an unpopular opinion. But it definitely seems more intentional and soulful even though both of them play a lot of notes :joy:

One thing that may get lost in the shuffle is that this is the first full band Orfeo since 2023 - also a Scotty debut! Lithium a song debut as well.

Agree with the others that the sitins are the highlight of the show. Great job, Colin!

The improv in this show is generally more inspired than the other shows this weekend (9/26 Night Nurse excluded), though I wouldn’t call anything JOTY. The dance party > blues jam in Pure Sat and minor-key moodiness in Virtue are my favorites.
