I’ve come up with a theory that they were intentionally tanking the band to convince kris to quit because they were too chickenshit to dump him themselves. Knowing they’d have their glowup. It only makes sense.
Just took a few more years than they planned. Then kris got hurt and they couldn’t end things until he recovered blah blah

It was Kris tanking the jams. Watch the videos from the past three years, he’s on the talk back mics a bunch and directing the jams. And he consistently rushed the jams to peak. At first glance it seemed like it was Jake, but if you listen carefully, it’s almost always Kris.
Once Kris was gone… good jams returned.

Agreed but they need to keep building on it and dial in some unique, ‘what the fuck is happening’ jams. Most of what I’ve heard is just good or great. Not holy fuck man. I do have faith though
