2025/09/07 - The Miracle in Mundelein, RISE Mundelein - Mundelein, IL

Was a really well played show, and the Dark Side was super cool, especially given that there was a full moon rising at the time. TBH though, I was super bummed that they didn’t play Us & Them, but instead went into Shine On. But, on the other side of that however, there was a really cool techno type jam out of that, which was super unexpected. Really nice jam in Money as well. I can see why they would skip Us & Them, as well as Any Colour You Like, given the time constraints & their “NEED” to play SOYCD, but it was still such a let down in the moment. IIRC, there was an U&T tease after Young Lust, but then it slipped into Brain Damage / Eclipse. The SOYCD did have the crowd pumped, and it was super well done as usual, so not at all complaining about it being played. Just wanna whine about no Us & Them…

Signed: seen too many shows and should know better than to expect anything with a jam band. 🤦‍♂️

It’s a travesty they look like they’re doing DSotM then don’t do Us & Them or Any Colour You Like. I’ve always wanted to see UM tackle Any Colour and they’re cowards for not doing so.

Also cowards for not playing any songs off Animals.

Haha charades they are.

They gotta charade for the Chads.

I was really hoping for this, as some of the 70’s jammed out versions are my fav.

There was also a goodbye blue sky tease somewhere towards the end

Floyd Set:

It’s hard to begrudge them this cover set when, unlike Led Zeppelin, they completely nailed every aspect of it. Good stuff.

With Myers gone you could argue Pink Floyd is the band they cover the best. Police covers going to be difficult moving forward I think.

I have faith Scotty could pull it off but Myers felt like a disciple of Copeland so TWT

I think Mirro loved SC as well. Myers fucking nailed the drumming. His higher voice really lifted those tunes as well. I hope Scotty can still pull the Police shit off though!

Reggae de Blanc is definitely one they should keep in the rotation a few times a year. Was such a kickass opener at Halloween '19, plus it has jam potential since it’s kinda open ended

This was by far the best cover set I’ve seen them play by a mile.

I love that they did a great rendition of on the run. Honestly one of my favorites in a sense that it was just them fucking around on modular synths. Glad um got weird with it. Still want an any colour you like tho
