Yea agree. That is way different than starting/finishing AIT/Bridgeless/Mantis/Divisions/OB, etc, when split up though. Not saying i dont like it either just saying the occasional curveball keeps you on your toes
I enjoyed the Harvest Moon more than I expected. I’m generally not the biggest Kanika fan, but she does it justice. Trying to figure out where those vocal harmonies came from though.
I wasn’t saying that it’s bad at all. In fact, i might be inclined to side with your opinion that change could work on their favor. I’d think that Scotty’s experience of palindrome sets with Dopapod could be helpful too .
This Bridgeless is hot fucking fire. 16 min to 20 sounds like Pink Floyd. Then another section at the 20 minute mark. That’s like 3 or 4 different jam portions.
The section from 5:20-5:45 of Educated Guess floored me. If I didn’t know it wasn’t Kris, I don’t think I would have even noticed it was someone else playing.
This Educated Guess is the best example from the first two shows of how much Kris’ vocal harmonies were missing IMO. Joel tries to pick up the slack but its a unique situation where the best voice in the band came from somebody who mostly did harmonies and Metallica/Radiohead covers.
