The return to BtL is a sneaky candidate for the best thing they do live

This song has made it’s way to a top favorite of mine because of the return to the ending alone. The last 5 or 6 have been very crisp and clean.

Soundtrack definitely seems like the kind of improv that might play better on tape than live, especially if the crowd is trying to party. I bet I’ll love it.

Word, I thought this was a great set from the couch. And for all the complaining that UM doesn’t jam, they do this sorta thing and people still bitch.

Can’t win for losin’ haha. Haters gonna hate, ain’t’rs gonna ain’t. That was a fun as hell set and event. Opening both nights with the improv sets was pretty neat

Set 2 is really good, and this recording overall sounds really crisp on the speakers.

All I heard was that first Ocean theme and was pretty bored. I should give the rest of it a chance

Soundtrack set def works better on tape after listening back.

Plunger should’ve won both times. Passing would’ve been tight. Heaters. Love these setlists.

Enjoyed the soundtrack set a lot. Definitely a flavor of UM I enjoy but rarely receive. Would love to terrorize my normie friends by playing this in the background while golfing or playing poker.

The soundtrack set was definitely a “you had to be there in person” type experience, and props to them for doing it. The visuals, the lighting - they really went all in on creating an EXPERIENCE and not just a set, and for me it really worked in that way. And they still did a more traditional improv set on Friday night too. Loved the balance this year.

There’s nothing like rarities to really up the stakes of a CYOA set. It still blows my mind one week later we managed to sneak Nopener (my first in 117 shows!) by Attachments considering the huge reception Attachments tends to receive at shows. Great stuff - and that JO was a nice bonus!
