I’m at ALB. 2X2 was a bit of let down but it was a good sounding set. Ringo was reliable but nothing great.

Ben wasn’t kidding when he said new Chris would be mixing drums a lot heavier. The mixing is definitely different than Mitchell and I’m sure I’ll start to like it more over time but I’m mixed (pun intended) on it right now. I do think it sounds a lot better in headphones than on a stereo.
Also that GA jam is soaring bliss.

The drums, at least in Staircase, are too high in the mix. Overwhelms everything else. Not that they did much in the jam other than set a vibe and then flail around trying to figure out what to do with it.
