I mean, I hadn’t heard them play one of my favorite bands biggest songs in 16 years. 12 minutes of my life in 16 sets is hardly worth wasting any energy on, especially if you werent there. Who cares?

its a masterpiece from my favorite band, and umphreys does it well. its rare for a set to be chock full of jamming, so being jaded about a beautiful composition seems pointless.

Umphrey’s does a wonderful job of covering SOYCD but I’d be happy to not hear them cover it while at a show for another 10 years. I was blessed to have heard it again last year at the Windjammer.
