It’s sad but true for me. I don’t really hear too many UM jams in the last few years that have blown me away. I’d rather hear a show full of more rare songs these days that’s a bit lighter on the improv than 2 6 song sets filled with the same heavy hitters they’ve played a ton in recent years.

Before the DBK, what was the last great 30 minutes of UM? I’d probably say that ITK>Controversy>ITK segment from Missoula with Mike Greenfield and that was like nearly six months ago.

Not many shows played from Missoula through now either.

I’ve seen all these songs and glad they like busting out some stuff, but it’s so annoying you have to go to the asshole of the country to catch some of these songs.
I’m probably one of the least jaded folks on here but christ let’s play a “unique” set list like this at some bigger shows you pussies.

I will cut my fee down once they are good enough again that the attending 10+ shows a year that would be required for research no longer feels like “work”
For real, they could start by jamming.
Then again, I talked to this couple the other night at the bar that were stoked about going to Knoxville and thought the band sounded great lately. So they still got people that lap this shit up.
