One of the most fun crowds I’ve ever been in and the most fun I’ve had at a show in years. THIS IS WHY I KEEP COMING BACK
@solvethebox hates this show because always October
You just left CLT and Raleigh bros though. Of course beach UM fans are gonna be fun.
SE UM bros are the fucking worst
More like crucial faint… I think someone passed out. It actually pissed me off because stasik was like trying to get the band to stop and I don’t think they caught on and bb was staring right at it and still didn’t stop and no security was coming it was so off then finally they stopped playing but it took WAY too long to get help
Crucial Taunt is far from this worst song in this show
I didn’t see they played Much Obliged, love that one too. I place a much greater importance on song selection vs how much I enjoy a venue. Glad y’all had fun tonight!

idk what it is about norva crowds, but they’re always rowdy. But also fuck rowdy crowds, give me a sit down UM show
757 goes HARD
nothing else to do down there in the winter but go hard
Fuck yeah speak up speak up!
What happened?
Shit happens it’ll be okay
This was basically the same. Beachy frat house vibes. Also, Saturday night. Not a single hands crossed Ben/Colin in the room. Everyone was moving and everyone was having a fucking blast. That really adds to the whole experience for me. This is way at the top of my UM experiences!
It was so great to see them be so patient and cohesive with Kris back. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Every jam was good. Domino had this strong emotional stab you right in the heart beautiful build. Has to be the best triple wide I’ve ever seen.
So far the nights go in order from worst to best. Not sure tonight can top last night though…
Educated Guess was very cringe. Seemed like they just couldn’t get it together lol That’s my negative comment.
I’m not quite as high as @hbbubblebath on this show. I agree it was good but I would take the Raleigh show 10 times out of 10 over this.
Highlight jams: I loved the patient slowly building groove of Intentions and loved the multi-part Ocean Billy that started very heavy and gradually faded out to something uplifting. The 3x peak was really nice too. Pure Sat was OK. I’m not a huge fan of their very mellow jams, but if you are you might want to check Pure Sat out - it was pretty relaxing and patient.
Lowlights: Setlist and crowd energy were awkward at times. The stop after Crucial Taunt was really weird - at least it happened during a bad song Glad they’re looking out for people though. Also, Always October is terrible. Terrible. And I agree EG had a couple rough spots - that is a really really hard song to nail but it was surprising after how well they were doing with the compositions on Friday.
Others: Higgins, Domino, and Remind Me all did their usual things. Higgins was a short warmup jam but was still nice to hear.
I think this show falls into whatever one step above “standard great” is for me. Still had an enjoyable time but knew they would be hard pressed to match Raleigh. The highlights are worth checking out.
Seriously? What was awkward to you? People having a blast?
Did you see the whole Crucial Taunt saga go down? It was scary how long it took for help. It was not far from where I was standing. They needed to stop earlier and didn’t
Objectively trash song. agree. bb and @ski-bUM need something to sing to their families though lol
Half delayed would have ruined the whole show. Phew
I woke up with Always October stuck in my head.
Fuck.
