Goddamn that was so much fun. Y’all are lovely people, I need to head south more often. Aside from a few rough areas, both shows were great. Favorite parts were basically every time they jammed with no sit in and Ben on drums.

Just got home. Good seeing @hbbubblebath @nsl and @StoneJackBaller and meeting @solvethebox @UnCommon_5 @timewilltell and @LarrySellers
I thought the Slacker jam was solid though Jake is a bit heavy handed. Didn’t know the cover with the opener’s drummer and Pig was pretty bad. I didn’t know what to expect with Goose’s drummer but I thought he was pretty good across the board. Pure Saturation, Small Strides, and 1348 were the biggest highlights.

I was struggling real hard to get through that awful pig so as soon as I heard it was pure saturation I went right for the bathroom and took my sweet time. I was getting really annoyed with the start of the show so I missed most of the jam. Oops.
I went from very low to the highest of possible highs when Mad Love started.

I forgot to share my favorite part about last night. I was waiting for porta potties and one opened up and the guy goes to open it and says “oh nvm that’s a women’s one” and I was like um I don’t think it matters but he had already walked away so I went in…… uhhhh wtf. Who has ever heard of gendered porta potties. Fucking weirdo

Honestly, any real established venue using porta potties is pretty fucked IMO.
I’d rather pee in a trough with 20 dudes standing 2 inches apart than stepping into a porta potty. I couldn’t imagine being a female and having to use them!
